On the other side of the fairgrounds Aneesa Quintanilla, 4, of Yuba City, was excited about an animal she just won.
Aneesa held up the plastic, lunch box-sized tank that contained the goldfish she had won in one of the carnival game booths.
Her father, Daryl Quintanilla, proudly denied taking any part in winning the fish.
"She did it herself," he said.
